You Want to Shout It

Shortly after Christmas a year ago, our daughter, Sydney and her husband, Spencer, told us they were ready to take the plunge into parenthood. So, a couple of months later, when Sydney called to tell us she was pregnant, the announcement came as no real surprise. psalm 68 11 baby

The funny thing was, Sydney didn’t have to say the word.

She began with, “Mom, I’ve got something to tell you, but you can’t tell anybody.”

That’s all I needed to hear. I knew I was soon to become a grandmother.

My hope was about to become a reality, and I had been sworn to secrecy!

Sydney, understandably, wanted to wait until her pregnancy was a little further along before she told the world. And, Sydney, being Sydney, wanted to create a cute video announcement.

So, for 6 long weeks, I waited, dutifully keeping my mouth shut.

When you’ve got good news, you want to share it. You want to shout it!

That’s how I feel about Scripture memory. I want women everywhere to find the joy I have found from memorizing God’s Word.

psalm 68 11My prayer is to see Psalm 68:11 manifested through this ministry, “The Lord announces the word, and the women who proclaim it are a mighty throng.”

My hope is that “a mighty throng” of women will use my Scripture memory techniques to joyously proclaim God’s Word!

The message of the Bible isn’t just good news. It’s The Good News!
